Actors, staff and audiences at the Young Vic’s new home in London are able to familiarise themselves with the new building thanks to the latest internet-based 3D technology. Photo-realistic images of the building have been created by T3D, the interactive 3D modelling and animation company, so staff and visitors alike can take a ‘walk around’ the building to familiarise themselves with its layout. The fully interactive tour is not prescribed and gives viewers total freedom to move around the images, and also the building, as they want.
